A late Easter post..

Londyn decorating eggs, she loved it!! Abs was sleeping but enjoyed eating the eggs later and had a BLAST hunting for eggs with Londyn!

Easter baskets full of goodies from the Easter Bunny!

Abi thought it was great to pull everything out and then put it back in..

They met the Easter Bunny, so fun!

Waiting patiently for the hunt to begin!

we had a great Easter and we are so thankful we had family to share it with! We did not and never will forget why we really celebrate Easter. It is fun to do the baskets and the egg hunts, but there would be no Easter without our Savior, Jesus Christ. I am so grateful for his atoning sacrifice and for his example of obedience. I love him with all my heart and am forever thankful for my big brother.

An early Easter!

Kaley and Cameron came to town for a few days last week and we all had so much fun with them! Cam did an acoustic show for us which was great and the kids loved playing chase with them both! Grandma Connie and Jack were in town for their last week and so Des decided to give easter baskets to the kids and one for each couple to share. The kids had so much fun opening their eggs and getting out the candy. A few day later, Grandpa and Grandma Dickey gave the girls baskets so they have been spoiled and hyped up on sugar for a few days!

fun in the sun.. a new summer begins.. maybe.

So it hit 85 degrees here on the first of April and I was sure the summer had started and I was getting mentally prepared for it.. Then i woke up to snow last friday and it's been really cool ever since.. now i'm not complaining, we could use a lot less heat around here but it's just hard to un-grasp warm thoughts after you've changed out you and your kids wardrobes.. here are some pictures of the kids splashing around in the hot, fun sun!

Time to catch up again!

I really don't know how I always get so behind!! The girls are growing up sooo fast! Abi will be a year next month and is really close to taking off on her own. Londyn gets to start pre-school in June, hopefully it will work out... i'm not quite sure she's ready but I'll be teaching so she gets to tag along. Justin is almost done with this semester, and it's been a long and rough one.. as much as i'm excited for him to be done, i think he twice as excited as i am! I've been running and trying to get my baby body back to normal body and i think it's helping.. I've signed up for my 2nd 5k, it will be in the first week of May! it's kind of addicting! so here are some pics from all of our adventures :)

Abi is really starting to just shine! her personality is so funny and i think she is going to be keeping right up with her sister in no time.

she's loving eating big kid food and will hardly touch any of the baby food anymore! it's so funny to see her face when she finds a new texture... so cute!

It's so fun to see them start to play with each other. Londyn now likes to include Abi in on games and wants her to always have whatever she has, so if she has a cup of juice she makes sure Abi has one or if she has a baby doll, Abi gets one too. it's hilarious!

just a fun and cute pic of my girls!

Londyn thinks she's "Rapunzel" from Tangled and so she asked me to do her hair like hers with flowers in it. this was my attempt, i thought it was pretty cute but not much like Rapunzel. her hair is growing like crazy!

we can't wait til it's warm enough out so that we can go play and have adventures outside of the house :)

The real reason for the awesome trip!

So all the fun parks aside, there was a much more important reason to journey to Florida. This little doll!

We were lucky enough to be able to attend her blessing and Justin was able to be apart of the circle. Jason gave her an amazing blessing and it was the cherry on top of a wonderful vacation. it was so great to see Londyn and Emmy reunited and to meet the newest addition to the bunch. Now we get to anticipate the arrival of Karli and Dusty's little girl!! I'm so glad everyone else is having babies right now, because as much as i want another one, my hands are full :) so i get to still play with the new ones and enjoy my own. More babies in our future but not just yet.

A day of rest by the pool... in the sun.

So on our 3rd day in Florida we relaxed by the pool and let the kids swim and play. Emmy taught Londyn how to jump into the pool and Abi splashed up a storm. She was so sad when it was time to get out. I think we have a fun summer of swimming in our future :)
I lathered the girls up in sunscreen because it was our first real sun experience since last year but i forgot myself.. so this is what i get for being forgetful... maybe i'll think twice next time.

Day 2 in Orlando, DISNEY!!

So, after a much needed night of rest we got to go to Disney World. Just for a bit of background... I told Londyn a month before we left that we were going to get to go to Disney and I told her all the things we could do. for example: hug winnie the pooh and minnie mouse and see captain jack sparrow and go on a pirate ride. This kid did not forget a word i said and every day up until we went it's about all she talked about. i think the both of us were super happy to have it finally be a reality and a fun one at that! here are some of my favorite pics:

Jason and Liz were SO prepared for the day! The brought these adorable dresses, they had glow sticks and candy and well anything you would want or need at disney, but without spending a billion dollars on it all. I just love these little princesses! Abi was dressed as Tinkerbell but was still pooped out in the stroller. poor thing, we're going to have to take a make up trip for her when she's a little older.

Abi went with us on the Safari ride and she was so cute! i would point at animals and she'd put her hand out with all her fingers extended like she wanted to touch what i was pointing at.

TROUBLE :)
I think the characters were my favorite! Londyn got to hug Pooh bear, Minnie, Timone, Pluto, and the Bunnies from Bambi. She was so tired that i couldn't get a smile but there was so much wonder in her eyes as she took it all in. it was great!

Abi fell asleep anywhere she could, and papa looked like a good spot while we were on the bus to Magic Kingdom.

such a sweetie and soooo cute!!

Getting ready for the fire works (that we didn't make it to, but we still had a great view!)

on the way to the castle i ran into prince charming and he was nice enough to stop and take a picture with me, isn't he dreamy?!

FIREWORKS!! londyn hated them and Abi was really intrigued by them.

the gang :)
We had such a great time!!

Our whirl wind trip to Orlando!!

So we just got back from a fun filled week end with Jason and Liz and their girls. They were great hosts and showed us the ropes at both major theme parks, Universal Studios and, of course, Disney World. The main reason we went was to meet our newest niece Ellie and she was so precious! We even got to be there for her blessing which was so awesome and we are so happy we could be there for it.
p.s. this may be a long post!
So we started by driving to Vegas to catch a plane. It was the red eye flight and let's just say no one slept but Londyn and Abi. Jason and Liz and girls picked us up at the airport and off we went to Universal Studios.

We, of course, had to go to the Wizzarding world of Harry Potter!! it was amazing, honestly so cool! the detail they put into that park is unreal! We got introduced to frozen Butter beer and there isn't a good enough word to explain how delicious it was.

Here is Justin standing in line for our food at the Hogs Head, i think.. i was to tired to take in to many details :)

Just a shot of the view when you walk in.

We took the kids to Dr. Seuss land where Londyn, Emmy, and, Abi got to ride the carousel (the two older girls rode it many more times too). Poor little Abi was so sick and low on sleep so for most of the trip she was crashed out in the stroller. I can't get the picture of Abi on the ride to upload so i'll try later. :(

We went to Jurassic park world and it was so fun! Londyn loved the huge dinosaurs and got to watch a baby dino hatch out of it's egg. She thought it was so cool. Justin is so fun because he gets into it with Londyn and it's like he's a kid again!

here are all the adults and Ellie :) we had a blast. These are just some of the pics from our first day in Orlando, i'll post Disney pics later because there is so much! enjoy!!

Moab FUN!

At the end of February me and the girls hopped into my grandparents car and took a trip to Moab. It was so much fun! Londyn is doing really good at remembering names and was awesome at keeping all the grandparents organized. She has Great Grandma Stocks who she calls "Grandma Elisabeth" and then Grandma and Grandpa Stocks and then she had Great Grandma and Grandpa Dickey there too. lots of grandparents to spoil the girls :)
We got to see Chy's family too but they got sick the day after we got there so they stayed a good distance away because they didn't want to get us sick. The girls ended up with ear aches anyway and we had to go to the ER on a Saturday morning because there is not an instacare in Moab :) anyway, we got to go to the park after church on Sunday and we all had fun and Monday i made my special chili for everyone. WE had a BLAST!!!

Abi is getting so big and is standing up against everything, but her favorite is windows or sliding glass doors. In this pic she was looking for a kitty outside. She says kitty anytime she sees any animal, it's so cute!!

A favorite new activity! parks are starting to be way more fun now that Abi is getting into the action!

Londyn makes friends wherever she goes, whether the new friend likes it or not :) her and this cute little girl held hands going up the slide and would wait for each other at the bottom and do it all over again. so funny!
